According to today's Metro, Donald Duck is celebrating his 73rd birthday today! (At least, if I counted correctly, he was born in 1934, if I miscalculated, please feel free to correct me in a(n) (im)polite manner ;p)
So this one's for you Donald, because all through my childhood you've made me laugh (and quite frankly, you often still do :) )

Yay!! Donald! He used to be my absolute hero when I was little, because he had so much bad luck that wasn't his fault. I could really relate. You know how there are "Mickey people" and "Donald people"? I'm definitely a Donald person.
I can still remember the big specials on German tv for his 50th "birthday" in 1984 (see, that's what distinguishes us old people from you lot!). Aaaah, better times.

So, when I was FOUR years old they must have broadcasted similar shows, but since I was still YOUNG, I don't really recall (is that any better???)
