Yesterday I downloaded a new song to my mobile "kvraagetaan" by Fixkes. It's a song in Flemmish about how easy life used to be. It's a song filled with nostalgia. ' 'k vraag et aan' is what we used to say when we were young and wanted a boy to be our boyfriend (or girlfriend), or we even sent out one of our friends to go ask the boy instead of going yourself.

Ironically, I ran into the boy who was my boyfriend when I was fourteen years old, about ten minutes after I downloaded the song. I didn't know what to say though, so I said hi and that was about it.... :D

The JC Rock Band

Saturday night we went to a pub where our across the door neighbour Erik was performing with his band. It was absolutely brilliant. I had been looking forward to going out for about two entire weeks, since we hardly ever go out, last time we went out was somewhere in the half of January.

 

Even nicer was that Erik was thrilled that we made the effort to come and see him sing, it's brilliant that you can make someone happy just by going to a pub! :D

but I'll spare you all the singing, but this brings me to a brilliant song by Re Born, who used to be named Born, which is his first name, but this Dutch guy objected to the name since he already called himself that...

But he's got this song named "sick of this lonely life", and the lyrics are absolutely hilarious! Read for yourselves:

I've seen and hear quite a few people sing the Jeff Buckley song "Hallelujah", and I must say that the song is growing on me, however boring I thought it was at first...
