hey Lars, you are not the only one who needs to start practising, my goal won't take me as much time as yours, but I think swimming across the Ocean won't be that more demanding on me then what I should practise for ;)

So, as I told earlier, I am the proud owner of a brand new shiny mobile phone, and my phone does not only have a built-in MP3 player, it has got a radio on it as well. Which came in quite handy today since I had not had the time to install MP3's on my mobile. But it has been ages since I last listened to the radio, so that was quite a nice experience. Funny thing was that I was listening to it for about five minutes, when the guy on the radio said: "We have a new listener", now that was odd, but it turned out someone who didn't get the phrase 'shooting stars', how long has it been since that guy had listened to the radio, since I knew the phrase already :). Anyway, what was even odder, is that everytime I switched it on, there was this commercial on about how Q Music will give you shoes for the amount of 2000 euros. But then you have to compete with other women in a "running in high heels" contest, where you have to run 100 m in high heels. I cannot even walk in them, so if I'm even considering making an arse out of myself for 2000 Euros worth in shoes (which I could really use as a matter of fact, since my shoes are worn down), I'd better start practising as well... or if you'd like to swap Lars, I'll swim across the ocean and you can do the run...???

A small test

I've found this small test, which is kind of fun;

here's a list of things all happening at the same time, read through the list and then write down the order in which you would do the things listed ;

1° someone knocks at the door
2° the watertap is leaking
3° your laundry is outside and it has started to rain
4° the baby cries
5° the phone rings

So, go throug it again and see if you would really do the things in that order...

Then check your list with the list underneath, since every item stands for something else

1° the people knocking at the door refers to your friends
2° the leaking watertap refers to sex
3° the laundry hanging outside refers to money
4° the baby refers to your family
5° the phone ringing refers to your work,

so, what's most important to you? I'd like to read your lists and especially your comments to this test.
My personal list is:
1- baby
2- the tap
3- the laundry
4- the door
5- the telephone

I thought about it this way when I made the list (and obviously didn't know the meaning, because then I would have made it differently); I pick up the crying baby, soothe him whilst turning the tap, get the laundry on my way to the door and whilst letting the people in pick up the phone. I especially put the phone last since I have caller ID and can always call back, if it's someone important at the door they'll wait because they know I'm always doing other things on my way to the door, and if it's a door to door salesman or a Jehova's witness, they'll be gone by the time I reach the door...
